Manchester United central midfielder Fred has fired a Premier League title warning to league-leaders Arsenal and second-placed Manchester City.

The Gunners are currently two points clear of City and eight ahead of United, although Pep Guardiola’s side have played one more league match than both of their rivals this season.

Now, Brazilian international Fred has admitted that the two teams above the Red Devils are good sides before claiming that Erik ten Hag’s men have the momentum to make up ground quickly.

โ€œWe know Arsenal and [Manchester] City are great teams, but we have our means to fight for it [the Premier League]. Our momentum is very good, so why not? We have three competitions left and will fight for each one of them,” he told TNT Brazil/ESPN, via the Mirror.

“We are extremely happy today, itโ€™s my fifth season here and this title means a lot to me and to the clubโ€™s way back to the top. We have a lot to fight for this season yet.”
