Gary Neville has put further pressure on under-fire goalkeeper Hugo Lloris after the Tottenham captain made yet another high-profile mistake.

Leading 2-0 at the break, Tottenham looked to be firing themselves right back into contention for the Champions League places but a resurgent Manchester City emerged after the break with their tails up to score three quick-fire goals.
Julian Alvarez had halved the deficit before Erling Haaland ended his mini-drought with a headed effort to bring the teams level.
In yet another instalment of a pulsating match between the two clubs, Ivan Perisic hit the post at one end with the goal gaping as Tottenham squandered the opportunity to retake the lead.
Just moments later, Riyad Mahrez gave Manchester City the lead for the first time in the game with a low drive that beat Lloris at his near-post. With the Frenchman under the spotlight after a series of high-profile errors this season, most notably on Sunday against north London rivals Arsenal, he appeared to make another.
On Sunday, Bukayo Saka had crossed the ball and Lloris, trying to parry it away, almost carried it into his net.
On commentary for Sky Sports, Neville left viewers in no uncertain terms as to whom he deemed responsible for Tottenham conceding the third goal.

‘The goalkeeper, I have to say, is in a poor run of form. He has to save that,’ he said.
‘He hits that well, Mahrez, but that cannot go past him at the near post. Despite the deflection, he has to stop that going in.’
Wishing to leave some compliments for the attacker, Neville did also praise Mahrez for his role in the goal, labelling his 20 minute performance in the second half ‘outstanding’.
‘But he has been outstanding,’ he said. ‘[The] top man in the first 20 minutes of this second half.’

With the title race potentially on the line, Manchester City endured the worst possible end to the first half with Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal putting Tottenham into a seemingly unlikely 2-0 lead.
Emerging from the dressing rooms for the second half, Manchester City appeared a different beast, however, and within 20 minutes they had turned the game on its head.
Should the reigning champions see out the result, they go within five points of leaders Arsenal while Tottenham remain five points outside of the top four, having played a game more than Newcastle.
