Federico Chiesa came off the bench and scored a sensational solo goal to rescue Juventus, who edged out a narrow 2-1 win against Monza in the Coppa Italia on Thursday.

The winger slalomed through Monza’s defence to net the winner in the 78th minute, after first-half goals from Moise Kean and Mattia Valoti made it 1-1 at the break.

Juventus will now face Lazio in the quarter-final on February 2.
