AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli admits they sought to postpone last night’s Champions League clash with Tottenham.
The 0-0 draw saw Milan reach the quarterfinals 1-0 on aggregate.
Both team buses arrived 30 minutes late compared to the schedule.
โWe asked for the game to be postponed by 10 minutes, but haven’t had a response yet,” Pioli said before kickoff.
โIt is an important appointment, we want to get through to the next round and will face this match with great energy.”
