Christian Pulisic could be set to be named in Anthony Hudson’s upcoming USMNT squad despite not featuring for Chelsea since the start of 2023.

The forward has made 21 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring only one goal and assisting a further two. Pulisic has struggled to cement a place in Graham Potter’s side since his appointment in September with his future in England seemingly being placed into further doubt.

According to The Athletic, USMNT assistant coach B.J Callaghan recently travelled to England to meet with the American as part of a visit across Europe alongside interim boss Anthony Hudson. The report claims he also met with fellow London-based players as well travelling to Germany to watch Giovanni Reyna in action for Borussia Dortmund.

The U.S face two fixtures during the March international break as they round off their CONCACAF Nations League group campaign. Hudson’s side are currently second in Group D, one point behind El Salvador, but can secure their qualification for the competition’s finals and Gold Cup with victories over Grenada (March 24) and El Salvador (March 27)
