AC Milan hero Billy Costacurta says Tottenham were never a threat last night.

Costacurta was impressed by Milan for their Champions League round of 16 first-leg win.

He said, “The audience was important, the fans warmed up the team.

“The players were humble on the pitch, Tottenham were never dangerous. Really good, I saw something of the Milan from the past two years.

“Let’s hope we don’t have to regret those two missed goals in the second half.”
