Nottingham Forest’s pursuit of Keylor Navas is advancing closer towards a deal, as Steve Cooper looks to bring in cover for the injured Dean Henderson.

Henderson, on loan from Manchester United, suffered a thigh injury in the 2-0 win over Leicester on January 14.
Cooper said that the English keeper would be out of action for four to five weeks.
Though Henderson will likely return next month, Cooper is keen to sign three-time Champions League winner Navas, before the transfer window shuts tomorrow.
Costa Rica goalie Navas, 36, has been at PSG since 2019, when he joined from Real Madrid.
He has 110 caps for his country, representing the Central American nation at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
Navas has not started for PSG this season in Ligue 1, with Gianluigi Donnarumma their top choice.
Steve Cooper’s side have already added midfielder Danilo, playmaker Gustavo Scarpa and forward Chris Wood to their squad in the winter transfer window, in addition to the 23 players they signed following promotion last summer.
Forest are also closing in on a move for Felipe from Atletico Madrid.
