Xavi has been using Marcos Alonso as a centre-back as he can play with his left.
Inigo Martinez is also a left-footed option on a free at the end of the season.
N’Dicka, with a market value of 32m euros, has been a starter for Eintracht this season, playing all but two games.
If Barca want him they will have to beat Italian sides Juve and Milan, among others, to a deal.
