The Spurs talisman is expected to leave the club at the end of the season with just 12 months left on his deal and is reportedly wanted by United manager Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag is in the market for a new striker after being forced to rely on loanee forward Wout Weghorst upfront in the absence of Anthony Martial who has been hampered by injuries.

However, the former United midfielder said he thinks the current chairman of Spurs is ‘difficult to deal with’ and that the England captain won’t leave.

Speaking to BT Sport, the 48-year-old said: ‘I don’t think Kane will leave Tottenham. I think it’s difficult to deal with Dan Levy.

‘I think Osimhen is a great player, but I think he is more suited for Chelsea. I think Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan would suit Ten Hag’s style of play.’
