The fullback’s current deal expires in June, but courtesy of clauses in his contract, he’s set to see a new agreement triggers.

TMW says if Sandro completes 50 per cent of the season’s games his deal will be extended by 12 months – or Juve must pay a €2m penalty.

Both Sandro and Juve are happy to carry on next season.

So far this term, Sandro is on track to reaching the 50 per cent threshold well before the end of the season.
