Agent Oscar Damiani believes AC Milan striker Rafael Leao has been affected by new contract talks.

Leao was benched for defeat to Inter Milan on Sunday.

Damiani said, “Leao’s renewal? It’s a conversation between the boy’s agents and the club.

“I think the story has influenced the boy, he is not the usual Leao, I see him lost. We are talking about an important player for Milan, capable of guaranteeing important breaks.

“Probably these are precisely the characteristics that may have led (Stefano) Pioli to include him in the second half.”
