Arsenal defender Pablo Mari was back at Monza’s Stadio Brianteo on Sunday just 10 days after being stabbed at a supermarket in Milan.
The 29-year-old central defender was thankfully conscious and not in a serious condition having been hospitalised following an attack in which a man was killed and four others injured.
Having been able to leave hospital after surgery, Mari was spotted waving to Monza fans ahead of their Serie A clash against Verona, before taking his seat while wearing a sling.
The official Serie A Twitter account wrote: “Love seeing you back on your feet again Pablo.”
