Liverpool have a nervous wait to find out the extent of the injury that Luis Diaz suffered during their defeat to Arsenal.

The Reds battled back from behind twice but it was not enough to come away from the Emirates with anything as Bukayo Saka’s penalty gave the Gunners all three points.
To make matters worse for Jurgen Klopp’s side was the injury to Luis Diaz as he was forced off the pitch in the first half with an apparent knee injury.

The Colombian attacker was having a good game for Liverpool as he set up Darwin Nunez for his side’s first goal of the game before he was replaced and has seen leaving the ground on crutches with a knee brace.
On Sky Sports Dave Jones said: ‘We should tell you Luis Diaz has left the stadium on crutches and a knee brace which is not a good sign ahead of Manchester City next week.’

A serious injury to Diaz would be a major blow to Klopp and Liverpool who have struggled to hit their best form this season, having only won two of their eight games in the Premier League this season.

Klopp also hinted that the attacker could be out for a while after the game as he told the BBC: ‘Luis Diaz, it doesn’t look good.’
So far this season, Diaz has impressed as he has scored three goals and assisted two more in his eight league appearances.
