AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori was hammered by the Italian press for his performance in defeat at Chelsea.

Tomori featured against his former club in last night’s 3-0 Champions League loss.

La Gazzetta dello Sport gave him a 4.5/10: “Two serious mistakes, not the first of the season. Personality is there, but, without attention, it counts for little”.

It was 5/10 for Il Corriere dello Sport, while Tuttosport rated him at 4.5/10: “It’s not an evening against his former team. He struggles in one-on-one, gets caught up in speed, gets his positions wrong”.

Same vote for Il Corriere della Sera: “A lost ball that almost costs the second goal is creepy, but worse still is the smooth doubling. Horror show”.
