Nigerian youngster Rasheed Akanbi Ibrahim is the first player to score the fastest goal in this season UEFA Europa League, after netting a goal in his team 3-0 away victory in their first game of the competition.

The 23-year-old has been in an astonishing form for Sheriff Tiraspol football club this season, and he has been able to score a lot of goals for the club.

The former Menemenspor football club striker led his team’s attack alongside his compatriot Iyayi Believe Atiemwen and Abou Ouattara and the trio were able to outshine their mates on the pitch.

Rasheed Akanbi Ibrahim broke the deadlock for Sheriff Tiraspol football club in the 2nd minute through an assist from Ukraine national team star Maksym Koval to end the first half 1-0.

Iyayi Believe Atiemwen doubled the lead for the away team in the 55th minute via a penalty kick before Mouhamed Diop scored the last goal of the game in the 76th minute via an assist from Nigerian Rasheed Akanbi Ibrahim to end the match 3-0.

Rasheed Akanbi Ibrahim’s goal was scored in 1 minute and 24 seconds and that makes it the fastest goal in this season’s UEFA Europa League.

The youngster has now scored in back-to-back matches for Sheriff Tiraspol football club, having scored a goal in their 2-0 victory over the weekend, and he will now be looking forward to continuing his impressive performance for the club when they play their next game in the UEFA Europa League
