Paulo Dybala might not end up joining Inter now and AC Milan could move to try and sign him on a free transfer, a report claims.

According to Il Tempo (via PianetaMilan), Inter are focusing on finding an agreement with Chelsea over the return of Romelu Lukaku and they no longer seem so convinced about signing Dybala.

The plan for Simone Inzaghi is to partner Lukaku with Lautaro Martínez in his 3-5-2 with Edin Džeko and Joaquín Correa as their back-ups, who are not expected to leave the Nerazzurri this summer.

There is still Alexis Sánchez on the wage bill too who has not found a new accommodation, while Hakan Çalhanoğlu will be joined by Henrik Mkhitaryan as more of a playmaker type.

Therefore, there is a bit of a stalemate between Inter and Dybala, and the Roman paper claims Milan can take advantage of the situation because they believe he would be easier to sign than Nicolò Zaniolo.
