Borussia Dortmund have made a £28million bid for former West Ham striker Sebastien Haller, according to reports in Holland.

Dutch outlet VI report the Bundesliga runners-up have made their first offer for the Ivory Coast international and are looking for a quick resolution to the potential deal.
Dortmund have been linked with Haller for some time and appear to be flexing their muscles with a substantial opening bid.
Haller’s contract at Ajax runs until 2025 and Ajax will be hoping they can hold onto their prized asset, who was the third top scorer in last season’s Champions League with 11 goals – with only Robert Lewandowski and Karim Benzema scoring more.

The 27-year-old moved to Ajax from West Ham United in January 2021 for a fee of £18.8m, becoming the club’s record signing.
He has impressed during his time in Amsterdam, scoring 47 goals in 65 appearances and should Ajax opt to part with the striker, they can expect to make a sizable profit.
Haller is no stranger to the Bundesliga after a two-year stint at Eintracht Frankfurt before his move to the London Stadium.

Last September, Haller became the first person since Marco van Basten in 1992 to score four goals on his Champions League debut when Ajax beat Sporting Lisbon 5-1.
Haller went on to find the net in every group game to become the second player to do so – after Cristiano Ronaldo – whilst becoming the fastest player to reach 10 goals in the competition’s history.
Dortmund appear to be moving quickly in replacing Erling Haaland, who departed for Manchester City.
The German outfit have already tied up the signing of Karim Adeyemi from Red Bull Salzburg with a swoop for Haller also potentially on the cards as they try to break Bayern Munich’s ten-year stranglehold on the Bundesliga title
