Andrea Belotti’s contract with Torino will expire at the end of the season and the striker seems open to a move. AC Milan have been linked with him for many years now, although the track is quite cold currently.

Being an experienced goalscorer in Serie A, and with Milan looking for a striker, the links were inevitable also because Belotti is a boyhood Rossoneri fan. However, while the player wants the move, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara aren’t as convinced.

As reported by La Stampa (via MilanNews) a few weeks back, Belotti is waiting for Milan but the latter have decided to go for Divock Origi instead. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s potential retirement, though, could change the situation.

Speaking to DAZN ahead of Torino’s 1-0 loss to Napoli last night, Il Toro’s sporting director Davide Vagnati was asked about Belotti’s situation. He seemed to suggest that a renewal shouldn’t be ruled out just yet.

“Belotti’s renewal? We talked to each other, he still has to make his decision and we will update as soon as possible: we will talk again in the imminent future. Everything is open,”he said as per MilanNews.
