According to As, as many as seven teams could be bidding for Nunez this summer, with Manchester United leading the way.

Nunez, 22, has been an integral part of Benfica’s squad, having impressed in Portugal and the Champions League. He has scored 33 goals in 38 appearances for Benfica this season.

Nunez’s hot form has also attracted the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich and even Paris Saint-Germain eyeing him.

As says United are leading the race for Nunez, largely because he is a favourite of new manager Thomas Ten hag, who believes nunez is a good fit for the Premier League and his style of play.

Nunez is understood to be worth around 100 million euros, although he has a penalty clause worth 150 million euros, but Benfica will accept a bid of around 100 million euros. Benfica will not put any obstacles in the way of Nunez’s transfer if a club can meet the bid.
