The Professional Footballers’ Association have announced their winner for the March Player of the Month award, as they nominated the likes of Kai Havertz, Philippe Coutinho, Harry Kane, Ivan Toney and the rest for the award. Meanwhile, they have officially announced their winner this afternoon, and the player obviously deserves the prize.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka has been named the PFA Fans Player of the Month for March, as the English attacker performed impressively throughout last month. The Gunners were literally unstoppable in the month of March, mainly because the Englishman helped the team’s performance in the Premier League.
Statistically speaking, Bukayo Saka was involved in 4 appearances for Arsenal in the month of March, as he registered 2 goals and 1 assist. Aside from that, the English youngster pulled off masterclass performances against the likes of Leicester City, Aston Villa, and Watford. With all that being said, the Mikel Arteta’s men thoroughly deserve the award.
Without being sentimental, the Gunners’ frontline revolves around Bukayo Saka, which is why he remains irreplaceable under Mikel Arteta. Of course, the likes of Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Smith Rowe are trying their best, but none of them plays an important role in the team’s performance more than the Englishman.
Apparently, the likes of Chelsea’s Kai Havertz, Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Brentford’s Ivan Toney, Aston Villa’s Philippe Coutinho and Watford’s Cucho Hernández were all nominated for the PFA Fans POTM. However, the Gunners youngster had the most votes, and he wins the award for the month of March.
Congratulations to Bukayo Saka.Â
