Sergio Ramos received boos and whistles from Paris Saint-Germain fans as he made his first appearance in two months following injury.

The 36-year-old has struggled with injuries since his arrival following the end of his contract at Real Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain fans are still annoyed following the nature of their Champions League collapse to the Spanish giants in the Round of 16.

Despite Ramos not having a part to play in the the fixtures, he was targeted with boos when he came on as a 72nd minute substitute for Marquinhos in the 5-1 victory over Lorient.

As the game restarted following the substitution, Ramos then received whistles every time he touched the ball.

He was not the only one however as PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino, who has been linked with the Manchester United job, was also booed by his own fans.

PSG held a 2-0 aggregate lead going into the second half of the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, only to collapse inside a crazy 18-minute period.

Karim Benzema scored a hat trick including two goals in 11 seconds to send PSG crashing out of the Champions League and still in search of their first success in the competition.

Days after the defeat, both Lionel Messi and Neymar were booed by supporters in their 3-0 victory over Bordeaux.

The club’s training centre was also graffitied with demands for Messi to leave and insults to other players and staff.

Ramos had been sidelined since January 23 with a calf problem before his cameo against Lorient on Sunday.

His move to the French capital has not worked out as hoped, with just three starts in all competitions this season due to his injuries.

He joined the club on a two-year deal though there is still uncertainty about his future at the club beyond this summer.

PSG have a 12 point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table thanks to their victory, which saw both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar score braces with Messi also finding the back of the net.
