Arsenal have reportedly been told how much they will have to pay to sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for the Argentine international last summer before he eventually penned a new long-term contract at the San Siro.

However, since then Mikel Arteta’s side have allowed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join Barcelona, whilst both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are also into the final four months of their respective contracts at the Emirates Stadium, meaning they may need to sign two centre-forwards at the end of the current campaign.

Now, Italian outlet Calciomercato have claimed that if any club was to offer €70million (£58.5million) this summer then Inter would likely allow Martinez to leave, with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid reportedly the two clubs who are most interested. The report also claims that the north London outfit have talked to the player’s agent.
