Bryan Cristante’s last-gasp strike secured a point for Roma against 10-man Sassuolo on Sunday.

Roma had a goal disallowed by VAR for offside after Chris Smalling knocked down a free kick for Tammy Abraham to tap-in.
The visitors were awarded a penalty in first half stoppages when Vlad Chiriches was penalised for handball and Abraham netted his 18th goal of the season.

Sassuolo were literally gifted an equaliser when Traore’s cross took a deflection off Smalling and Rui Patricio clumsily pushed it into his own net.
Traore put the home side ahead when sneaking in front of Rick Karsdorp to chest down a Berardi cross and fire in from 12 yards.

However, Sassuolo then went down to 10 men when captain Gian Marco Ferrari received a second booking for a foul on Abraham.
Deep into stoppage-time, Roma snatched a point when Jordan Veretout’s corner was headed in by Bryan Cristante.
