Paris Saint-Germain are showing an interest in Leeds winger Raphinha, according to reports, as the Brazilian continues to be linked with some of Europe’s top teams including Liverpool.

The 24-year-old has impressed at the start of this season and is one of Marcelo Bielsa’s go-to players, netting three times in eight matches since August.
The Brazilian’s agent, former Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder Deco, admitted that the Reds have shown an interest in the winger in recent months, with Jurgen Klopp’s side impressed by the 24-year-old.

And according to TeamTalk, PSG have now joined Liverpool in the race for Raphinha, with the French giants’ interest in the Leeds man stemming from Neymar’s admiration of the player.
Raphinha and Neymar have been linking up together at international duty with Brazil, with the Leeds winger making a very good impression in the most recent round of fixtures earlier this month.

The 24-year-old’s debut for the Selecao saw him register two assists in a 3-1 comeback victory over Venezuela, before scoring a brace on his first start for Brazil in a 4-1 win over Uruguay later that month.

And according to Deco, Leeds are planning to hold on to Raphinha for at least another season, but remained coy about how long the 24-year-old would end up staying at Elland Road.
‘There are certainly many clubs interested in him,’ Deco told Brazilian publication Globo earlier this month.
‘Liverpool do like him and there were some approaches, but nothing official. Leeds wanted to keep him for another season.

‘Raphinha is happy at Leeds, but there will certainly come a time when he wants to take a step up in his career and move forward.
‘He has three years left on his contract, but there’s nothing in it that states how long he must stay for or that prevents transfers.’
Raphinha moved to Leeds in October 2020 in a £17million move from French club Rennes and has scored nine goals in 38 matches for the Whites.
