Calls for one of the more promising members of the club’s academy setup to be handed a consistent chance to impress at senior level have mounted amongst the Leeds United faithful on Saturday.

Broja makes the difference
Marcelo Bielsa’s men returned to action a short time ago.
In their first outing on the back of the international break, the Peacocks made the trip to St. Mary’s Stadium, for a Premier League showdown with Southampton.
Leeds headed into proceedings desperate to build on a first 3-point haul of the campaign last time out, when a hard-fought matchup ultimately saw them get the better of Watford by a goal to nil.
Ahead of their latest test on Saturday, though, Bielsa was unable to call on any of star trio Kalvin Phillips, Raphinha or Patrick Bamford.
And, upon the final whistle sounding in Hampshire, such absences proved altogether costly.
Another underwhelming display eventually saw Leeds put to the sword by a solitary goal, netted by on-loan Chelsea man Armando Broja early in the 2nd-half.
Bielsa targeted

Leeds, in turn, have been sucked within a solitary place of the Premier League’s relegation zone once more.
It should therefore come as little surprise to hear that, amid a start to the season which is quickly becoming nothing short of alarming, the Whites supporters have since made clear their frustrations.
Taking to social media in their droves this afternoon, the Leeds faithful have not been shy in pointing the finger of blame squarely at boss Marcelo Bielsa.
This comes amid the widespread agreement that youngsters Joe Gelhardt and Crysencio Summerville, moving forward, should be handed a consistent chance to impress with the club’s first-team squad, over the likes of Tyler Roberts.
Both Academy talents were introduced to the fray late on at St. Mary’s, but neither really given enough time to make a telling impact on proceedings.
