England’s under-21 side were back in action on Tuesday evening.
The Young Lions were facing off with Kosovo in an under-21 EURO qualifying match.

And, when all was said and done, it would be England came away with all tree points.
Former Liverpool man Rhian Brewster would open the scoring from the spot after just 11 minutes.
Cole Palmer of Manchester City then doubled England’s lead before the break, being assisted by Crystal Palace loanee, Conor Gallagher.
Why Smith Rowe missed out for England’s under-21 side
Ahead of the game, England would of course release their matchday squad for the clash.

The starting eleven and bench was stacked with talent. However, there was one big name missing.
That name was Emile Smith Rowe of Arsenal, who did not make the eleven or bench:
After already losing the likes of Thomas Partey, Gabriel, Ben White, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to injury and covid-related issues this seaosn, Arsenal fans were no doubt deeply concerned at Smith Rowe’s absence for England’s Young Lions.
An explanation for the midfielder’s absence has since been provided, though, and it does not sound too bad for Arsenal.
