Reports stemming from Spain suggest Liverpool are interested in signing Valencia’s Carlos Soler.

Who is Carlos Soler?
Carlos Soler is a product of Valencia’s academy and has, so far, spent his entire career at the club.
The now 24-year-old would make his senior Valencia debut at just 19, featuring in a 3-2 loss vs Real Sociedad in December of 2016.
Soler has since gone on to notch a further 187 appearances across all competitions for Valencia. In said ties, he has scored 26 goals and assisted 26.
Soler, who has featured on two occasions for Spain’s national side at the time of writing, is a central midfielder by trade.
However, he is pretty versatile and can also play on the left and right of midfield.
Soler has done so to great effect so far this term, starting all three of Valencia’s La Liga ties on the right of a four-man midfield. When doing so, Soler has score three in three.
Liverpool eye Soler
And now, as mentioned above, Soler appears to be attracting interest from a Premier League side.

According to the Liverpool Echo, citing Spanish outlet Fichajes, Jurgen Klopp is one of the main parties interested in signing Soler.
The German is said to like Soler due to his ability to occupy different roles in midfield:
Valencia are not said to be too keen to part with Soler. However, unless he pens a new contract soon, the Spaniard will have just 12 months left on his current deal next summer, likely meaning Valencia would need to sell in order to gain some sort of decent transfer fee
