Day four of the euros saw Scotland host the Czech republic at the Hampden park with the Steve Clarke coached side making their first appearance in a major tournament since the 1998 World cup finals in France.
Bayer Leverkusen man Patrick Schick started for Czech and bagged a brace that condemned the Scotts to a two-nil defeat but it was his second goal on the evening that has fans tongues wagging.
The Bundesliga-based man picked the ball from 49.7 yards and with David Marshall off his line, the striker curled the ball that beat the goalkeeper which meant the Czech striker had scored a goal from the furthest distance since 1980.
Schick has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent seasons as the future of Alexander Lacazette remains uncertain at the club and his goal could have sent the club’s hierarchy a reminder of the kind of player they could be getting.

Former Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil was equally impressed with the strike and took to his Twitter account to share his satisfaction at the talisman’s moment of magic.
“Ohhhhhhhhhh Schick I guess we have already the goal of the tournament.”Mesut Ozil tweeted.
Matchday five of the tournament will witness a blockbuster clash between France and Germany with either side strong enough to win this tie although France have been touted as the favorites to win the tournament.
