Burnley have held further talks over a deal for Ashley Young.

The 35-year old is available on a free though has been offered a contract by Inter Milan where he made 34 appearances last season and won the Italian league title.

Burnley have offered a one year deal with an option for a further 12 months and manager Sean Dyche knows Young well from their time together at Watford.

Young also had interest from Watford though they are in talks over a deal for left back Danny Rose who left Tottenham this month.
Dyche is expected to sign a new five year contract with Burnley after terms were put in place earlier this month.

He is also targeting two centre backs with James Tarkowski a target for West Ham.
Stoke’s Nathan Collins, Nottingham Forest’s Joe Worrall and Dael Fry of Middlesbrough are among the names on their list.
