The English Premier League top-four race has been tight this season with the third and fourth spot yet to be secured with the last game of the campaign to be played over the weekend. The only big sides from the league that have secured a spot to play in the Champions League next are Manchester City and Manchester United.

Pe Guardiola men have finished first winning the league title while Manchester United are behind them in second place. Three Premier League clubs are battling for the last two remaining positions but one of them will miss out.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester City are third fourth and fifth respectively with points difference between them being two points while Arsenal is wil not be the Champions League next season. Chelsea is on 67 points while Leicester City and Liverpool have 66 points but the Reds fourth on goal difference.

Arsenal is one of the big clubs that won’t play in the Champions League next season while Liverpool and Chelsea have to wait until the last matchday to secure a spot. If both Liverpool and Chelsea win their last game, they will both finish in the top four and if one of them gets a draw they are at risk of not securing a spot.

Chelsea will play Aston Villa on the last match day while Liverpool will host crystal Palace. Chelsea will be playing a tougher opponent and there are high chances they will have a hard time playing Villa who has been remarkable this season.

The Blues could miss out especially considering they have a Champions League final to play next weekend and Tuchel could decide not to play some of his key players in the final match and this could cost them not finishing in the top four.
