We may be in the middle of two transfer windows, with the next coming at the start of January in Europe, but that doesn’t mean football clubs around the world aren’t still able to conduct transfer business.

The window may be shut for player transfers from one club to another, but free agents are still able to court the attention of potential clubs and move without any restrictions.
We have seen the likes of Fernando Llorente move to Eibar, Serge Aurier join Villarreal and Antonio Mirante sign for AC Milan on free transfers in recent weeks, and there will no doubt be more moves to come.

The pick of the free agents is Dani Alves. Despite now being 38, he proved at the summer Olympics that he is still playing at a high level.
And, course, he has enjoyed a glittering career with Brazil, Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, Sevilla and others.
There are other players on the list with plenty of pedigree, too.
Paulinho featured for both Barcelona and Tottenham in his career, while Clement Grenier could be an interesting acquisition at 30 years old with still plenty to offer.
Jack Wilshere is training with Arsenal but it is highly unlikely he will be offered a deal by the Gunners.
Jordan Ibe was a £15 million player as recently as 2016 but at the age of 25 now finds himself without a club
