SPORT have confirmed that Rafa Yuste and Mateu Alemany are heading to Doha to negotiate Xavi Hernandnez’s arrival as Barcelona coach. The idea is to seal a deal and quick as possible and announce him.

The former midfielder has agreed to come to Barcelona, the main challenge is finding a formula to hire him from Al Sadd. Xavi has a 1m euro release fee.

The club want a deal between Xavi, Barca and Al-Sadd. Barca hope he can coach the team next week in the Champions League against Dynamo Kiev. For now Albert Capellas will be interim coach.
