38 year old shot-stopper Ben Foster has been around for a long time, having made 367 Premier League appearances since his debut in the 2006-2007 campaign, and keeping an impressive 90 clean sheets in the process. An additional 70 odd caps outside the top flight has been complemented by 8 England caps, most recently in the 2014 World Cup.
Now back at Watford where it all began, Foster has been in a tussle for the no.1 jersey with German goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann, with the Englishman having played in each of the last three Premier League games after having watched the first four from the bench.
Foster reveals how he found out about the managerial change at Watford

In an interview with the Telegraph, Foster revealed that he and the team were not told that they were parting ways with Xisco, meaning that the first time that he knew of it was when it broke in the media, the same time as millions of fans.
In addition, the shot-stopper said that they were not told who the replacement would be, and once more were as much in the dark as any other fan ahead of Claudio Ranieri taking his first training session.
Speaking to Jason Burt, he revealed:
Will Ranieri be able to turn around the fortunes of the club, even though they face 7 of last season’s top eight in their next 8 fixtures, or will he be the next man out of the door this season?
