Inter Milan are exploring the prospect of bringing Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly back to Italy.

The Senegal international only left Napoli for Chelsea last summer.

However, La Repubblica says Koulibaly is being considered at Inter as a replacement for Milan Skriniar, who is off contract in June.

Inter have registered their interest during talks with Chelsea about extending the loan of Romelu Lukaku.

Also being considered by Inter is Roma defender Chris Smalling, who’s contract is also running down this season.
