Newcastle striker Callum Wilson said he had no doubts his controversial goal would stand against Tottenham on Sunday.

Fabian Schar sent a ball over the top for Wilson to chase and although Hugo Lloris was first to it, the Spurs goalkeeper went down under slight contact from the Newcastle forward.
Wilson carried on while Lloris was on the floor and then lobbed both the France international and Dier before he wheeled away to celebrate in the 31st minute.
A VAR check came and went which only added to the frustration of the hosts.
Afterwards he said: ‘I didn’t think it was going to be disallowed.
‘I have every right to go for the ball. Sometimes the goalkeepers get too much love from the referee but he’s crashed it into me.
‘VAR can get in the way of things, it’s annoying.’

Newcastle doubled their lead when Sean Longstaff headed down an attempted pass by Lloris to Almiron, who embarked on a jinking run that saw him beat Sessegnon and Clement Lenglet before he fired under the Tottenham goalkeeper for his sixth goal of the campaign.
Spurs pulled a goal back after Son’s delivery was flicked on by Lenglet to the back post where Harry Kane stooped low to head in his 11th goal of the campaign.
VAR was required to see if Davinson Sanchez had got a touch but, with no conclusive evidence either way, Stockley Park-based Stuart Attwell let the goal stand.
But it was too little too late.
