Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola denied ‘Le Parisien’, who recently claimed that Neymar had been offered to City in return for Bernardo Silva. He stressed that these are rumours like so many others that are repeated every summer and that have the English in the spotlight.

The summer market is open and rumours are multiplying as the days go by. At any moment there could be a bombshell that changes absolutely everything.

For ‘Le Parisien’, the signing of the summer could be Neymar. The French newspaper reported that PSG had offered Neymar to City in order to bring Bernardo Silva, their great desire, to the Parc des Princes.

City boss Pep Guardiola was quick to respond to the media in question, telling ‘The Times’. “I’m sorry for ‘Le Parisien’, but that’s not true. Their information is not correct,” he denied.

The man from Santpedor praised the Brazilian star, but again stressed that City are not considering signing him: “Neymar is an incredible player and, according to the information I have, he is an incredibly nice guy. But this is not true. Every summer it is announced that Manchester City will buy 150 players”.

Neymar is also unaffected by the rumours that he is out of PSG. He is focused on the team and everything else is in the background
