Flamengo confirms the signing of Vidal: ‘dream I’ve had all my life’

Chilean should start training this Thursday.

Minutes after beating Atlético-MG 2-0 at Maracanã, guaranteeing a place in the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo officially announced the hiring of midfielder Arturo Vidal. The Chilean followed the stadium’s triumph on Wednesday night.

“Welcome to the red-black dream, Vidal! Let’s go upstairs!”, wrote the club in a post on social media.

Vidal is expected to start training this Thursday. The debut can take place against Juventude on the 20th, in Brasília. Cebolinha also lives this expectation, as the reinforcements coming from Europe can only play when the window opens, on the 18th. From then on, both players will be available.
