Barcelona have reportedly identified a ‘Plan B’ if they are unable to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The Norwegian striker is expected to be one of the most sought-after players in world football in the next transfer window.
Haaland has a £68m release clause which comes into effect this summer, with some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Real Madrid and Manchester City also keen.
Spanish publication Sport have reported that if Barcelona don’t sign Haaland, they could instead look to bring in both a striker and a new centre-back.
The alternative option up front would be Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.

Isak, 22, has been linked with a host of clubs over the last two transfer windows after an impressive year for club and country this season.

However, the 22-year-old has scored just four goals in 20 LaLiga appearances comparing to the 17 he netted in 34 games last season.
Haaland in comparison has scored an impressive 16 goals in 14 Bundesliga games.
By looking elsewhere though they would free up a move for a centre-back, with Sevilla defender Jules Kounde a target of Barcelona manager Xavi.

The Frenchman was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea last season, though the Blues were priced out of a move due to the defender’s 80 million euro release clause (£66m).
Kounde has been a regular for Sevilla this season making 29 appearances in all competitions.
The Catalan giants have also been linked with Chelsea defenders Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen – who are both out of contract at the end of the season.
