Tottenham have expressed interest in signing Newcastle target Diego Carlos.

The defender played for Sevilla in their 1-1 draw with Valencia on Wednesday night but has asked to leave the LaLiga side.
AC Milan have proposed a deal for the 28-year-old Brazilian but it has fallen short short of Newcastle’s £28m offer.

The Brazilian defender is said to be keen on the move and negotiations are over a deal are taking place.


Carlos joined Sevilla from Nantes in 2019 and has gone on to make 106 appearances for the club.
AC Milan meanwhile remain keen on a loan deal for Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga.
The 22-year-old has made 18 appearances in all competition for Spurs so far this season.
Premier League sides have until 11pm on Monday, January 31, to complete their signings.
