The FA are looking into a yellow card given to an Arsenal player following concerns from bookmakers about highly unusual betting behaviour.

A significant amount of money was placed on the outcome, which the authorities are concerned might have been spot betting.

The FA told the Athletic: ‘The FA is aware of the matter in question and is looking into it.’
