Arsenal defeated Newcastle United by 2 goals to nil at the Emirates Stadium today.
The Gunners bounced back to winning ways after their 4:0 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s side last time out.

The first 45 minutes between Arsenal and Newcastle ended in a goaless draw. It was an end to end performance from both sides but neither could find the back of the net.
Jonjo Shelvey was denied by Aaron Ramsdale’s brilliant save and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang failed to convert a golden opportunity from close range.
In the second half, Mikel Arteta’s side dominated the midfield in the first 10 minutes and they broke the deadlock through Bukayo Saka in the 56th minutes and Gabriel Martinelli put the host in a comfortable lead, few minutes after coming off the bench.

Eddie Howe’s side pushed further to get a consolation, but Aaron Ramsdale was determined to keep a clean sheet and he denied Willock, Fraser and Saint-Maximin from scoring.
The Arsenal shot stopper has now kept 6 clean sheet in 10 Premier League appearances.
