Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has reacted to the widespread speculations that his team may face hard times on Saturday when they are playing against Chelsea because of the selected match referee.

The UEFA Champions League match committee has chosen the widely known Spanish Laliga referee, Antonio Mateu Lahoz as the referee for the coming Champions League match between Chelsea and Manchester City. Many football fans have been carrying speculations that the match may prove being a hard one for Guardiola because of his previous encounter with Lahoz.

This is because the Spaniard has had an unpleasant encounter with Lahoz three years ago when he was dismissed from the touchline in a Champions League match by the referee.

However, Pep Guardiola who recently won the English Premier League with Manchester City has reacted to this speculations. He made it known that there is not much to care about concerning the referee. He stressed that he is confident in his team, “I could not care less, I’m confident in my team’.
